Open Letter to Shareholders: The Future of Water.
September 20, 2017
September 20, 2017, Rotterdam, Netherlands. Rainmaker Worldwide Inc. (OTC: RAKR) (“Rainmaker” or “the Company”) is pleased to provide a letter to shareholders from our CEO and Chairman of the Board, Mr. Michael O’Connor.
To our shareholders,
Almost every day, water makes the headlines somewhere in the world. Droughts, floods, and pollution are all big news.
Water, not oil, has become the world’s most precious and most contested essential resource.
Today, more than 800 million of the world’s poorest people live without access to an improved source of drinking water. This has a devastating impact on families, communities and entire regions, robbing them of their health, income potential, and opportunity for progress.
Water scarcity also multiplies risk, raising the chances of civil conflict following periods of drought, amongst other problems. The 2016 World Economic Forum’s Report warns that “failure to address climate change and water crises” could also trigger large-scale migrations.1
Innovation is desperately required. Current solutions such as unprotected wells, tankers, and bottled water have caused a backlash from the public, governments, and NGOs. The world now requires natural, effective, economical, and improved water sources. It’s time for us to make it happen.
Our purpose: to provide clean water for communities in need so that nobody goes thirsty.
Rainmaker Worldwide is in the business of providing water responsibly, now and into the future, so that nobody goes thirsty.
Our suite of Air-to-Water and Water-to-Water technologies create water, either out of the air, or by converting seawater or polluted water into drinking water. All this, at a low cost per liter, without doing harm to the environment.
An exciting horizon lies ahead for Rainmaker. Our principal focus is the commercial development and roll-out of world-class water solutions to service both domestic and international markets.
I would like to thank you for your time and support, and look forward to sharing this tremendous opportunity.
Mr. Michael O’Connor
CEO Rainmaker Worldwide Inc.
On Behalf of the Board of Directors
Rainmaker Worldwide Inc. is headquartered in Peterborough, Canada, with an innovation and manufacturing center in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Our patented water technology provides economical drinking water wherever it’s needed and at scale.
Rainmaker builds two types of energy-efficient, fresh water-producing technologies to participate in this opportunity.
- – Air-to-Water, which harvests fresh water from the air
- – Water-to-Water, which transforms seawater or polluted water into drinking water
Our technology is both wind and solar powered, is deployable anywhere, and leaves no carbon traces. We also offer options for hybrid, grid and diesel powered models.
Air-to-Water units are available in three standard sizes, producing 5,000, 10,000 or 20,000 liters of drinking water per day. Water-to-Water units are also available in three standard sizes producing 37,500, 75,000 or 150,000 liters per day. This makes each unit suitable for communities of 250 to 30,000 people, depending on units deployed. Additional units can be easily added where greater volumes are required.
Our goal is to become a global leader in solving the worldwide water crisis. Simply put, we’re creating safe, drinking water where little or none exists.
