Michael O’Connor

Chief Executive Officer
Chairman & Co-Founder

Michael O’Connor has over 35 years of experience in business development and corporate finance, scaling global companies. As a founding executive at Orascom Telecom (1998–2008), he led M&A and expansion, growing its subscriber base from 250,000 to 125 million. In 2008, he co-founded WIND Mobile (now Freedom Mobile), which reached 1 million subscribers before its $1.6 billion acquisition by Shaw Communications. Previously, he was Director of SAIC’s Center for Economic and Financial Analysis. Now at Rainmaker, he drives sustainable water solutions worldwide.

Kelly White

Kelly White has over 25 years of experience in finance, administration, and human resources. Since 2015, she has led financial management and corporate strategy at Rainmaker. Previously, she was a partner at Larchwood Management Partners, a finance, business, and strategic advisory consultancy serving the telecommunications, utility, and water sectors. She has also managed business startups across Canada and is an active community volunteer. White holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Economics from Trent University.

Jim Ross

Audit Commitee Chair

James Ross is a senior finance professional and entrepreneur specializing in Environmental, Renewable Energy, and Technology sectors. With a proven track record in Mergers and Acquisitions and Corporate Finance, he has held senior roles as Director and CFO of both public and private companies in telecommunications, power, IT, and recycling industries, with operations in Asia and the Americas.
