Michael Skinner brings over two decades of leadership and expertise in water technology, innovation, and business development. He has a proven record of scaling companies in the clean technology sector, with a focus on sustainable and decentralized water solutions. As former CEO of Rainmaker Worldwide Inc., Michael advanced innovative water treatment systems, including atmospheric water generation (AWG) and wastewater technologies, to address critical global water scarcity challenges.

He also served as CEO of the Innovation Cluster in Peterborough, a high-impact business incubator that supported more than 400 startups across sectors including agtech, cleantech, and health innovation. Under his leadership, the Cluster generated over $50 million in regional economic impact and helped establish Peterborough as a hub for sustainable innovation. In addition, Michael served as Chair of the Centre for Alternative Wastewater Treatment (CAWT), a globally recognized research facility accelerating applied research and commercialization through academic–industry collaboration.

With deep experience in strategic planning, operational efficiency, investment attraction, and international market development, Michael is well positioned to lead Miranda Water Technologies into its next phase of growth. Peter Roebuck

Peter Roebuck is an advisor to Rainmaker Worldwide Inc. and a Senior Process Engineer with a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, specializing in Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene. His background includes crisis and disaster response, with a focus on implementing WASH programs in low-resource settings. Peter’s work supports Rainmaker’s goal of delivering sustainable water solutions to vulnerable and underserved communities. He has designed and managed water systems for humanitarian and development projects globally. Peter also brings technical and project leadership experience from his time at Booth Welsh, where he managed engineering quality and process improvement for environmental systems.

Michael O’Connor has over 35 years of experience in business development and corporate finance, scaling global companies. As a founding executive at Orascom Telecom (1998–2008), he led M&A and expansion, growing its subscriber base from 250,000 to 125 million. In 2008, he co-founded WIND Mobile (now Freedom Mobile), which reached 1 million subscribers before its $1.6 billion acquisition by Shaw Communications. Previously, he was Director of SAIC’s Center for Economic and Financial Analysis. Now at Rainmaker, he drives sustainable water solutions worldwide.
